In Scheme W, 3-[3-Chloro-4′-(4-methyl-piperazine-1-carbonyl)-biphenyl-4-ylmethyl]-1-(4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-2H-indazol-5-yl)-pyrrolidin-2-one is prepared by treatment of 3-(4-Bromo-2-chloro-benzyl)-1-(4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-2H-indazol-5-yl)-pyrrolidin-2-one with (4-Methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-[4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-[1,3,2]dioxaborolan-2-yl)-phenyl]-methanone in the presence of Pd(PPh3)4 and Na2CO3.
