Procedure
In a 100 mL round bottom flask 4-[2-(2,4-Diamino-quinazolin-5-yloxy)-ethyl]-piperazine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (2.3 g; 5.9 mmol) was magnetically stirred in 20 mL of dichloromethane and trifluoroacetic acid (3 mL) was added dropwise at room temperature. After 16 hours, solids were filtered and rinsed with 10 mls of dichloromethane. Title compound was obtained 2.1 g (88% yield).
Workup
- filtrationsolids were filtered
- washrinsed with 10 mls of dichloromethane
