Procedure
A mixture formed from 1.7 g of the product obtained in Step A of this Example, 5 ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid and 20 ml of water is heated at 65° C. for 30 minutes. After cooling, the reaction mixture is washed with ether, rendered basic to pH 9-10 by the addition of potassium carbonate and then extracted with ether. The expected product is obtained by drying and purification by chromatography on silica gel.
