Procedure
(6-Bromo-quinoxalin-2-yl)-(4-fluoro-benzyl)-methyl-amine (0.4 g, 1.1 mmol), 1-Boc-4-pyrazole boronic acid pinacol ester (0.4 g, 1.3 mmol), caesium carbonate (1.5 g, 4.6 mmol) and potassium iodide (0.018 g, 0.1 mmol) were dissolved in 1,4-dioxane (20 mL) at room temperature. The reaction mixture was degassed at RT under vacuum and placed under an atmosphere of nitrogen. The process was repeated twice and slowly Bis(tri-tert-butylphosphine)palladium(0) (0.059 g 0.1 mmol) was added at room temperature. The reaction mixture was heated by microwave irradiation at 110° C. for 180 min. After completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate (150 mL) and washed with water (3×20 mL) and brine (20 mL). The organic volatiles were removed under vacuum to give a residual solid.
