Reaction Steps
To an ice cold solution of 4-{2-[(R)-1-(3-Chloro-phenyl)-ethylamino]-quinoxalin-6-yl}-pyrazole-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (0.1 g,) in 1,4-dioxane (3 mL) was added 14% HCl in dioxane (2 mL). The resulting mixture was stirred at RT for 2 hours. After completion of the reaction, the volatiles were evaporated off completely and the solid was triturated with acetone to afford the title compound as the HCl salt (0.017 g, 20%).
