Reaction Steps
3.0 g of the compound from Example 10 are warmed to 90°-100° C. in 17 ml of 30% strength sulphuric acid. At this temperature, 6 ml of 2.5 molar sodium nitrite solution are added dropwise. The mixture is stirred for one hour more at 100° and then cooled. The precipitated solid is isolated, washed and dried.
