Procedure
To a mechanically stirred solution of the title compound of Example F (17.5 g, 0.065 mol) in 60 ml of pyridine was added hydroxylamine hydrochloride (5.41 g, 0.078 mol) and resulting solution was stirred for 36 h. Evaporation of the solvent afforded a light yellow oil which was chromatographed on silica gel eluting with 3% EtOH/CH2Cl2 to give the title compound (16.48 g, 89%) as a white solid: Anal calcd for C14H24N2O4 : C, 59.14, H, 8.51; N, 9.85. Found C, 58.91; H, 8.48; N, 9.71. MS calcd for C14H24N2O4 284, found 284. DSC=131.0°-134.7° C. at 93.1 J/g.
