Reaction Steps
The tert-butyl ester of Example 13 is dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid and stirred for 16 h at room temperature after which time the reaction is concentrated in vacuo. The resulting material is purified by chromatography on silica gel eluting with EtOH/CH2Cl2 /HOAc to give the title compound.
