Palladium tetrakis-triphenylphosphine (25 mg, 20 μmol) was added to a degassed solution of bromide 125 (100 mg, 0.4 mmol) and boronate 11 (174 mg, 0.8 mmol) in dioxane:acetonitrile:water (9:9:2, 2.2 mL) and potassium carbonate (139 mg, 0.7 mmol). The resulting mixture was heated under argon at 90° C. with stirring for 2 days. The mixture was then cooled, diluted with dichloromethane (5 mL), dried with sodium sulfate and concentrated under reduced pressure. Flash chromatography (ISCO system, silica, 0-50% ethyl acetate in hexane) provided 126 as an impure oil: LRESIMS m/z 241.1 [M+H]+, calcd. for C15H17N2O1 241.1.
