To the solution of tert-butyl 4-(6-(2-(4-(2-methylpyridin-4-yl)phenyl)acetamido)pyridin-3-yl)piperazine-1-carboxylate (125) (1.5 g, 3 mmol) in DCM (10 mL) was added TFA (10 mL). The reaction was stirred for 2 hours. The excess TFA and solvent was removed by rotary evaporation to give 2-(4-(2-methylpyridin-4-yl)phenyl)-N-(5-(piperazin-1-yl)pyridin-2-yl)acetamide 131-1. The compound was used for next step without further purification. MS m/z 388.2 (M+1).
