To a solution of methyl ((8R)-8-{[(4-fluorophenyl)sulfonyl]amino}-8,9-dihydropyrido[3,2-b]indolizin-5-yl)acetate (0.46 g, 1.1 mmol) in ethyl acetate (20 mL) was added under nitrogen Pd—C 10% (0.02 g, 0.19 mmol, 0.17 equiv.). After a period of 1 h under 1 atmosphere of H2, DCM was added to the reaction mixture which in turn was filtered over a micro filter and the solvents were evaporated to afford 464 mg of the title compound.
