2-(5-Bromo-4-(4-cyclopropylnaphthalen-1-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthio)acetic acid can be reacted with hydroxylamine to form 2-(5-bromo-4-(4-cyclopropylnaphthalen-1-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthio)-N-hydroxyacetamide. Use of an N-substituted hydroxylamine, would provide the N-substituted product.
