A solution of 6-chloro-pyrimidin-4-ylamine (997 mg, 7.7 mmol) and 2-chlorophenyl isocyanate (0.46 mL, 3.85 mmol) in THF (20 mL) is refluxed for 4 h. A further amount of 2-chlorophenyl isocyanate (0.46 mL, 3.85 mmol) is added and the reaction mixture is refluxed for 28 h. The reaction mixture is cooled to RT, the precipitate is filtered to afford the title compound (1.9 g, 86%).
