2-{(1S,2S)-2-[1-(5-chloropyrimidin-2-yl)piperidin-4-yl]cyclopropyl}ethanamine from step 3 of Example 5 (59 mg, 0.21 mmol) was dissolved in DMSO (1.0 ml). K2CO3 (86 mg, 0.62 mmol) and 2-chloro-6-methylisonicotinonitrile (31 mg, 0.21 mmol) from step 2 of this example were added and the mixture stirred at 150° C. overnight. The mixture was cooled to RT, diluted with water (30 ml), and extracted with EtOAc (3×30 ml). The organic fractions were combined, washed with brine, dried over Na2SO4, filtered and the volatiles removed in vacuum. The product was purified by chromatography on SiO2 eluting with 20% EtOAc:Hexanes to give the titled compound. LRMS calc: 396.18; obs: 397.27 (M+1).
