To a solution of the [1-(1-pyrimidin-2-yl-cyclopropyl-carbamoyl)-3-1,2,3-triazol-2-yl-propyl]-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (143 mg, 0.37 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (5 mL) was added TFA (0.14 mL, 1.85 mmol) and the mixture was stirred at rt for 2 h. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo and 106 mg of crude 2-amino-N-(1-pyrimidin-2-yl-cyclopropyl)-4-1,2,3-triazol-2-yl-butyramide trifluoroacetate. The title compound was used in subsequent reactions without further purification.
