To a solution of [3-(1-pyridin-2-yl-cyclopropylcarbamoyl)-oxetan-3-yl]-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (100 mg, 0.30 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (2 mL) was added TFA (1 mL). The solution was stirred at room temperature for 17 h and then concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by reverse phase HPLC to give 3-amino-oxetane-3-carboxylic acid (1-pyridin-2-yl-cyclopropyl)-amide formate as a white powder (72 mg, 86%) after lyophilization, m/z 234 (free base) [M+1]+.
