Reaction Steps
1-Methyl-4-(2-nitro-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-5H-benzocyclohepten-7-yl)-piperazine was prepared from 2-nitro-5,6,8,9-tetrahydrobenzocyclohepten-7-one and 1-methyl piperazine in a similar manner to Example 178a. Product was isolated as a brown solid.
