Reaction Steps
3-(3-Chloro-propyl)-8-methoxy-1,3-dihydro-benzo[d]azepin-2-one was prepared from 8-methoxy-1,3-dihydro-benzo[d]azepin-2-one and 1-bromo-3-chloropropane in an analogous manner to Example 251a. Product isolated as a brown solid (5.87 g, 84%). LC/MS (ESI+) 266 (M+H).
