2-Cyclohexylmethoxy-4-trifluoromethyl-benzoic acid cyclohexylmethyl ester (528 mg, 1.33 mmol) was reacted with 1N LiOH (2.65 mg, 2.65 mmol) as described above to give 2-cyclohexylmethoxy-4-trifluoromethyl-benzoic acid (361 mg, 90%) after drying by vacuum.
