To a solution of 4-((4-fluorophenylthio)methyl)-1-(3-methoxy-4-((2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy)methoxy)phenyl)pyridin-2(1H)-one Part A (64 mg, 0.13 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (1.0 mL) and MeOH (1.0 mL) was added 4M HCl/Dioxane (2 mL, 8M mmol). After stirring at RT for 2 h, concentration under vacuum provided the crude phenol as a white solid. LC-MS, [M+H]+=358.
