In a flame dried round-bottomed flask equipped with a magnetic stir bar and under inert atmosphere (N2), a solution of trans-4-benzyloxycarbonylaminocyclohexane-methanol (110 mg, 0.42 mmol) in MeOH (5 mL) was hydrogenated in the presence of Pd/C (10%) at rt until completion of the reaction. The mixture was then filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure. The title compound was obtained as a light brown solid. LC-MS-conditions 07: tR=0.11 min; [M+H]+=130.24.
