Reaction Steps

A mixture of 2-(1-(4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenylsulfonyl)piperidin-4-yloxy)isoindoline-1,3-dione (640 mg, 1.36 mmol) and hydrazine monohydrate (0.073 ml, 1.5 mmol) in EtOH (6 ml) was stirred for 1 hour. The precipitated materials were filtered off and washed with EtOH (2 ml×2), then the filtrate was evaporated under reduced pressure to give O-(1-(4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenylsulfonyl)piperidin-4-yl)hydroxylamine (519 mg, 100%).
