3-(Hydroxyimino)-3-[(7-nitro-1H-indole-2-carbonyl)-amino]-propionic acid methyl ester (960 mg, 1 mmol) prepared in Step B was dissolved in DMF (10 mL). Pyridine (1 mL) was added thereto, and the mixture was stirred for 4 h at 80° C. The reaction was quenched by aqueous NH4Cl solution. The reaction mixture was extracted with EtOAc, and dried over MgSO4. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by column chromatography to give the title compound (830 mg, Yield 90%).
