To a solution of 100 mg (0.341 mmol) (2-amino-5-propargyloxy-phenyl)-(4-isopropyl-phenyl)-methanone in 1.5 ml CH2Cl2 is added 61 mg (0.36 mmol) 2-(2-hydroxyethoxy)benzaldehyde and 84 mg (0.38 mmol) sodium triacetoxyborohydride. The mixture is stirred at r.t. for two days, diluted with water and extracted with CH2Cl2. Purification of the crude product by chromatography (ethyl acetate/hexanes 1:1) affords a yellow solid.
