Reaction Steps
0.7 g (2.1 mM) of methyl 4-[bromo(phenyl)acetyl]benzoate and 2-aminothiazole (2.5 eq) are stirred in 20 ml DMF at 90° C. for 6 h. The DMF is evaporated and the crude product is purified by column chromatography.
