Under argon atmosphere, a 5 mL microwave reaction vial was charged with 8-bromo-5,6-dimethyl-3-thia-1,4,7,8a-tetraaza-as-indacene from example 7 (10 mg, 0.035 mmol), 3-carbamoylphenylboronic acid (9 mg, 0.053 mmol) and Cs2CO3 (23 mg, 0.071 mmol) in DMF (3 mL) followed by the addition of Pd(dppf)Cl2 (3 mg, 3.5 μmol). The resulting suspension was heated on microwave at 100° C. for 1 hr. The reaction mixture was filtered and the filtrate was purified by Prep-HPLC to give the title compound (6 mg, yield: 52%) as a white solid.
