A mixture of 4-bromo-2-fluoropyridine (100 mg, 0.57 mmol), 1-amino-3-(3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-2(1H)-yl)propan-2-ol (117 mg, 0.57 mmol) and TEA (115 mg, 1.14 mmol) in DMF (5 mL) was stirred at 120° C. under microwave heating for 1 h. Water was added to the mixture which was extracted with DCM. The combined organic layers were concentrated to give the desired compound as a colorless oil (170 mg, Yield 82%) and used directly in the next step. LCMS (m/z): 362.08, 364.08 (M+1).
