To a solution of 2-(6-azidohexahydrofuro[3,2-b]furan-3-yl)isoindoline-1,3-dione (crude product from above step) in MeOH (70 mL) was added 10% Pd(OH)2/C (240 mg, 0.17 mmol). The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight under H2 atmosphere. The mixture was filtered, and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to give the crude product. The residue was used for the next step without further purification.
