Procedure

To a solution of 33 (0.057 g, 0.11 mmol) in DCM (5 mL) was added TFA (1 mL) at ambient temperature. After 1 h, the solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The residue was dissolved in EtOAc and washed with aqueous NaHCO3, brine, dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated. The crude product was purified by flash silica gel chromatography (10% MeOH/DCM) to afford 0.015 g (35%) of 34 as a white solid. 1H NMR (CDCl3, 300 MHz) δ7.42 (m, 1H); 7.35 (d, 1H); 7.28 (m, 1H); 6.90 (dd, 1H); 4.60 (m, 1H); 4.48-4.45 (m, 1H); 3.89-3.76 (m, 4H); 3.65-3.56 (m, 2H); 3.31 (dd, 1H); 2.52-2.44 (m, 1H); 2.13-1.72 (m, 6H); 1.43-1.27 (m, 5H); 1.05-0.97 (m, 6H) ppm.
