4M HCl solution (in Dioxane) (20 mL) was added to stirred solution of 1-((S)-tert-butylsulfinyl)-2-(5-fluoro-2-(((R)-tetrahydrofuran-3-yl)oxy)phenyl)pyrrolidine (4.1 g, 11.54 mmol) in Dioxane (25 mL) and stirring was continued at 20-35° C. for 4 h. After which the reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to afford the crude product. The crude product was purified by washing with diethyl ether to afford 3.2 g of the title compound as a white solid. MS (ESI): 288.2 (M+H).
