The title compound was prepared from 7-methoxybenzofuran-3-yl trifluoromethanesulfonate and Intermediate 39 following General Procedure B. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 400 MHz): δ 8.24 (s, 1H), 7.26 (t, 1H), 7.17 (d, 1H), 6.99 (d, 1H), 3.94 (s, 3H), 2.52-2.47 (m, 2H), 1.21 (t, 3H). LCMS: 201 (M+H)+.
