Reaction Steps
The title compound (2.3 g, 69%) was prepared from 2-(tert-butyloxycarbonyl)-5-hydroxy-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindole (2.5 g) and methanesulfonyl chloride (1.7 ml) using the method of Description 6.
