4-(4-Methoxy-7-morpholin-4-yl-benzothiazol-2-ylcarbamoyl)-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (95 mg, 0.2 mmol) were dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid (0.8 ml). After 1 h at room temperature, the mixture was evaporated to dryness. Purification as described for tetrahydro-pyran-4-carboxylic acid (4-methoxy-7-morpholin-4-yl-benzothiazol-2-yl)-amide afforded the title compound as a white solid (77%), MS: m/e=377(M+H+).
