Reaction Steps
The product from step (i) (1.0 g) in 1,4-dioxane was treated with 4M hydrogen chloride in 1,4-dioxane (40 ml). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18 hours. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to give the subtitle compound as a white 15 solid. Yield 1.9 g.
