The reaction was carried out in a manner similar to Example 186 c) except for using 0.055 g (0.14 mmol) of 4-chloro-1-methyl-7-(3-nitrophenoxy)-2-indoloylguanidine, 0.16 g (0.71 mmol) of tin (II) chloride dihydrate and 5 ml of ethanol. Thus, 0.036 g (59.0%) of 7-(3-aminophenoxy)-4-chloro-1-methyl-2-indoloylguanidine hydrochloride was obtained.
