Reaction Steps
A solution of the product of step (a) (1.11 g), imidazole (417 mg) and tert-butylchorodiphenylsilane (0.75 ml) in dry DMF (4 ml) was stirred for 18 hours. Water was added and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic extracts were dried, concentrated and purified (SiO2, petrol:acetone 3:1 as eluant) to give the subtitle compound (1.16 g).
