The title compound was prepared by the method of Example 85 using 1.0 g (3.9 mmole) of 5-[(1H-benzimidazol-2-ylthio)methyl]-2-pyridinamine (see Example 110) instead of 6-[(1H-benzimidazol-2-ylthio)methyl]-2-pyridinamine. Structure assignment was supported by the nmr and infrared spectra and by elemental analysis. Analysis. Calc'd. for C13H12N4SO*¼ H2O: C, 56.40; H, 4.55; N, 20.24; S, 11.58. Found: C, 56.35; H, 4.46; N, 20.25; S, 11.66.
