To a chilled suspension of (tert-butoxy)-N-[4-(2,4-dioxo(1,3-dihydroquinazolin-3-yl))phenyl]carboxamide (0.35 g, 1 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (2 mL) was added neat TFA (2 mL). The resulting solution was stirred cold for 1 hr, concentrated in vacuo, azeotroped with heptane and dried to give desired compound (0.376 g, 99%) as the mono TFA salt. ES-MS (M+H)+=254.
