PROCEDURE

实验过程

To a stirred solution of 2.40 g of 2-deoxy-2,2-difluoro-4,5,7-tris-O-(phenylmethyl)-D-arabino-3-heptulofuranosonic acid, ethyl ester in 8.8 ml of acetic anhydride at 0° C. was added 1.08 ml of boron trifluoride etherate. After 2 hours at 0° C., the solution was diluted with ether and stirred with aqueous sodium bicarbonate solution. The organic layer was washed with water and brine, dried, and concentrated. The residue was subjected to column chromatography on silica gel to give an oil, CMR δ 20.7 and 215 (singlets, CH3CO).
