Procedure
When a suspension of 3,4-dimethoxy-1,2,5-thiadiazole 1,1-dioxide is reacted with an equimolar amount of 4-[(2-quanidino-4-oxazolyl]butylamine [prepared according to the procedure described in Belgian Pat. No. 866,155] and the resultant 3-{4-[(2-guanidino-4-oxazolyl]butylamino}-4-methoxy-1,2,5-thiadiazole 1,1-dioxide is treated with excess methylamine, the title compound is thereby produced.
