Procedure

The reaction of 6-chloro-2-(1,1-dimethylethylamino)-4-(2,2-dimethylpropylamino)pyrimidine with piperazine as described in Example 5 gives the title compound in a yield of 86.0%, m.p.:120°-124° C.
