Reaction Steps
2,4,6-Trichloropyrimidine is reacted with cyclopentylamine according to the method of Example 3. The less polar 2-(cyclopentylamino)-4,6-dichloropyrimidine is obtained in a yield of 35.2%, m.p.:48°-52° C.
