15.6 g (0.154 mol) of n-hexylamine were added at 0° to 2° C. to a stirred mixture of 10.4 g (0.071 mol) of 2,4-difluoro-6-methoxypyrimidine in 60 ml of methyl t.-butyl ether within 15 minutes. After 1 hour at 0° C., 4 hours at 25° C. and working up as in B 2-3, 9.6 g (60% of theory) of the title compound of nD23 =1.4938 were obtained.
