Procedure
25g of lactose was added to 0.05M potassium phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.0) and heated to solution for a total quantity of 45 ml. Then, bacteria suspension (300 units as β-galactosidase) of streptococcus thermophilus YIT2046 obtained from a culture, 5 g of immobilized glucose isomerase GODO-AGI, and 0.25 ml IM-magnesium sulfate were added before addition of water so as to make the total quantity 50 ml. The thus-prepared liquid was reacted at 50° C. over night while being shaken. 1g of activated carbon was added to liquid to be reacted from which immobilized glucose isomerase and bacteria of streptococcus thermophilus had been filtered, and then the liquid was subjected to a decoloring processing. As a result, a colorless sugar liquid was obtained.
