2.53 g (10 mmoles) of 2,5-difluoro-4-(1,2,3,6-tetrahydro-1-methyl-4-pyridinyl)benzoic acid hydrochloride in 100 ml water with 10% Pd/C catalyst was hydrogenated under pressure. Filtration and evaporation afforded the title compound.
