A solution of saturated ammonium chloride (4 ml) was added slowly to a suspension of (S)-N1-(5-cyclopropyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-2,4-difluoro-N3-(1-(4-fluorophenyl)ethyl)-6-nitrobenzene-1,3-diamine (Method 102, 0.30 g, 0.719 mmol) and zinc dust (0.235 g, 3.59 mmol) in MeOH/THF (10 ml, 1:1). The mixture was stirred at 25° C. for 2 hours. Saturated ammonium acetate solution (5 ml) was added and the mixture was stirred for another 30 minutes. Zn dust was removed by filtration and the cake was washed with EtOAc (15 ml). The organic layer was separated and dried over sodium sulfate. After removal of solvent, the product was used directly for the next step without further purification.
