A mixture of 2-chloro-5-methyl-pyrimidin-4-ylamine (0.18 g, 5.9 mmol), 1-bromo-2-methyl-3-trifluoromethyl-benzene (0.33 g, 1.4 mmol), Pd2(dba)3 (0.12 g, 0.13 mmol), Xantphos (0.15 g, 0.25 mmol) and cesium carbonate (1.23 g, 3.8 mmol) were suspended in dioxane (8 mL) microwaved at 160° C. for 18 min. Reaction vessel was then centrifuged down and decanted. Solvents then evaporated and resulting residue was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel to afford title compound as white solids (0.095 g, 25%).
