A solution of the 1-methyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylic acid (18 mg, 0.14 mmol) in DMF (0.5 ml) was treated with CDl (23 mg, 0.14 mmol) at rt for 1 h. A solution of (1Z)-5-(3-butyl-8-chloro-2,6-dioxo-2,3,6,7-tetrahydro-1H-purin-1-yl)-N-hydroxypentanimidamide (50 mg, 0.14 mmol) in DMSO (0.4 ml) was added to the mixture then heated to 100° C. for 18 h. The reaction mixture was purified by MDAP to give the title compound as a white solid (18 mg).
