Procedure

To a solution of Example 18 (1.272 g, 2.58 mmol) in dichloromethane (10 mL) was added HCl (2.5 mL of 4 M solution in dioxan). After stirring for 24 hours, all volatiles were removed in vacuo and the resulting solid washed with acetonitrile. After removing the solvent, the resulting solid was dried to give a beige solid, 0.50 g.
