Procedure

720 mg (1 mmol) 8, dissolved in 3 ml abs. CH2Cl2 was placed in a round-bottom flask and 1 ml (13.06 mmol) TFA was added. After stirring for 30 min. at room temperature the reaction mixture was diluted with 50 ml CH2Cl2, washed with saturated NaHCO3 solution and dried over Na2SO4. After removing the solvent 589 mg (95%) of a colourless oil was obtained.
